Upload Policy
1. CONTENT GUIDELINES
1.1 Ratings
All content uploaded to the site must be appropriately rated into 4 different categories.

Anthro.Art has four tiers for rating content: Everyone, Teen , Adult , and Explicit.

The following guide is intended to help users rate their content appropriately, however the Anthro.Art staff reserve the right to act with moderator discretion if there is content found to be outside the scope of the guide as it is currently written.

As a general rule, if you are unsure if the content you are submitting belongs in one of two tiers, the staff recommends you upload it to the higher of the two. While we wish that we could answer every question about every aspect of this guide, we simply do not have the resources to do so. Always use your best judgement, and make sure you tag your content appropriately.
Everyone
Content is safe to view for all ages, and requires no additional rating description.
LANGUAGE: - Does not contain any sensitive language or profanity.
NUDITY: - Does not contain partial or full nudity.
SEXUAL THEMES: - Does not contain any sexual themes or fetishes with the exception of brief displays of affection, such as kissing or hugging.
VIOLENCE: - Does not contain any Blood/Gore.

May contain weapons being used as props (not being used with harmful intentions)
OTHER SENSITIVE CONTENT: - Does not contain drug use of any kind.
Teen
This tier contains content that is still appropriate for minors, but that some users still may not wish to be exposed to.
LANGUAGE: - May contain some profanity; however, language is not used in sexual context.
NUDITY: - Contains partial or full nudity where the context is educational or artistic yet not sexual. If the art contains exposed chests. Nipples should not be drawn. (think Barbie doll anatomy). Genitalia MUST NOT be visible. Mild scarring, such as top surgery scars, is permissible, provided it is tagged appropriately.
SEXUAL THEMES: - Does not contain any sexual themes or fetishes with the exception of brief displays of affection, such as kissing or hugging.
VIOLENCE: May contain general horror and trauma themes, provided the content does not meet the requirements in the Explicit-G tier. This includes minor references to death.

May also contain depictions of small amounts of blood/gore.

This includes, but is not limited to themes such as: Small smears to slight drops of blood only. Blood is faint and is not a huge focus of the artwork. Scarring as a result of injury, Small bleeding cuts, Small amounts of Candy/Food gore can be uploaded if properly tagged. If your unsure upload under the Adult label.
OTHER SENSITIVE CONTENT: - May contain weaponry that is in use or depicted with the intent to harm, cigarette/cigar smoking, the presence of alcohol without explicit consumption, and mild body horror (such as multiple eyes or limbs).
Adult
This tier is not appropriate content for minors, and includes topics and themes that are adult-oriented, but not Explicit in nature.
LANGUAGE: - Contains persistent use of profanity.
NUDITY: - May contain depictions of partial or full nudity, exposed or prominent nipples on fully developed breasts, or the outline/suggestion of genitalia through clothing.
SEXUAL THEMES: - May contain highly suggestive sexual content, such as pin-ups or sexual references that do not meet the requirements for the Explicit tier.

- May contain highly suggestive sexual content, such as pin-ups, Or Images that explicitly portray sexual acts or penetration or other sexual references that do not meet the requirements for the Explicit tier.
VIOLENCE: May contain general horror and trauma themes, provided the content does not meet the requirements in the Explicit-G tier. This includes minor references to death.

May also contain depictions of small amounts of blood/gore.

This includes, but is not limited to themes such as: Small smears to slight drops of blood only. Blood is faint and is not a huge focus of the artwork. Scarring as a result of injury, Small bleeding cuts, Small amounts of Candy/Food gore can be uploaded if properly tagged. If your unsure upload under the Adult label.
OTHER SENSITIVE CONTENT: - May contain depictions of active consumption of alcohol and/or hard drugs.
Explicit
This tier is not appropriate for minors, and is reserved for graphic sexual content.
LANGUAGE: - Contains vulgar dialogue that is sexually explicit.
NUDITY: - Contains nudity involving adult themes or sexual situations.
SEXUAL THEMES: - All depictions of sexual arousal, sex toys, or graphic sexual acts belong in this tier.
VIOLENCE: May contain general horror and trauma themes, provided the content does not meet the requirements in the Explicit-G tier. This includes minor references to death.

May also contain depictions of small amounts of blood/gore.

This includes, but is not limited to themes such as: Small smears to slight drops of blood only. Blood is faint and is not a huge focus of the artwork. Scarring as a result of injury, Small bleeding cuts, Small amounts of Candy/Food gore can be uploaded if properly tagged. If your unsure upload under the Adult label.
OTHER SENSITIVE CONTENT: - Contains Drug use and other Sensitive content.
Explicit-G
This tier is not appropriate for minors, and is reserved for violent content.
VIOLENCE: - All depictions of blood or violence belong in this tier. Graphic, extreme and/or realistic depictions showing excessive force doing mortal damage, extreme bodily harm or in most cases, contains death. Ex: Torture, severe open wounds being inflicted, extreme and busted bruises, dismemberment or trauma being performed on another, cutting into another, or any other extreme gore reenactment and more.

Blood May contain:
Contains large smears/pools of blood, or the artwork may have a big focus on blood.

Gore may contain: Graphic loss of limbs, Violent death, and Realistic depictions of Exposed innards, Deep Wounds, Mutilated, Freshly amputated limbs, Extreme bruising, Small cuts or lacerations.
2. PROHIBITED CONTENT
This website is overall pretty relaxed with the content that is allowed. There are some things we do NOT tolerate on this site. These Guidelines will serve to keep all users safe and protected. All prohibited content includes ALL uploaded user content such as the following but are not limited to: Submissions, Submission Descriptions, Comments, Profile Customization, Avatars, Profile Banners, Gifs to name a few.
2.1 Content that is NOT ALLOWED in any fashion or context:
- Content made using AI, machine learning, or similar generators is not allowed, including derivative works created from it (e.g. stories, audio, backgrounds, paint-overs, using one's own content to generate new content). AI art used for the purpose of inspiration or light reference is completely allowed.

- Any sexual and/or suggestive content of minors - this includes fictional characters, and “cub” art.

- Themes including, but not limited to: homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism, or otherwise hateful speech or content. The staff reserve the right to remove such content under moderator discretion.

- Explicit content of humanized/anthropomorphized animal or monster characters (who are capable of expressing consent and rational thought processes) is allowed. Characters must be bipedal (plantigrade or digitigrade) (exception for disabled characters), and must not be a literal animal. Explicit content depicting strictly “feral” / quadrupedal animals or creatures is not allowed.

3. ALL MEDIA
3.1 Submission Information
Uploading content (artwork, pictures, videos) that does not belong to you is forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to: traced, copied, stolen, and/or modified imagery. AI art work is not allowed to be uploaded.

By submitting content using forms on Anthro.art to upload art, sketches, or videos you affirm that you understand and agree to all of the following terms and statutes.
3.2. Avatars/Profile header images
Please only upload content that belongs to you or was made for you.

Please do not upload any NSFW images as Avatars or Profile header images. We at Anthro.Art care about protecting minors from seeing this kind of content unfiltered. We will take action to correct anybody who does this. You will get a couple of warnings before we take a more extreme approach like temporary suspension.
3.3 - Upload agreement
Upon submitting content to Anthro.art you grant the site non-exclusive rights to transmit, resize, store, display, publish or alter any submission within the boundaries of the site's domains.

You agree that you will not upload, share, post, or otherwise distribute or facilitate distribution of any content -- including text, communications, software, images, sounds, data, or other information -- that:

- is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another’s privacy, tortious, contains explicit or graphic descriptions or accounts of sexual acts (including but not limited to sexual language of a violent or threatening nature directed at another individual or group of individuals), or otherwise violates our rules or policies;

- victimizes, harasses, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability;

- infringes on any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, or other proprietary right of any party; constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, junk or bulk email (also known as "spamming"), chain letters, any other form of unauthorized solicitation, or any form of lottery or gambling;

- contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any data or other information of any third party; or

- impersonates any person or entity, including any of our administrators or representatives.

We neither endorse nor assume any liability for the contents of any material uploaded or submitted by third party users of the site. We and our administrators have the right at their sole discretion to remove any content that, in our judgment, does not comply with this Submission Agreement and any other rules of user conduct for our site, or is otherwise harmful, objectionable, or inaccurate. We are not responsible for any failure or delay in removing such content. You hereby consent to such removal and waive any claim against us arising out of such removal of content.

Submissions transferred to Anthro.art shall not violate the law of the United States of America, be it State or Federal. Copyright is to be respected, maintained and credited at all times. In the event of legal action, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State of California and no other domain within the U.S.A.

Anthro.art retains full rights to modify or change the terms set forth within this document at any time. Users have full right to terminate this contract at any point.
